Domain/Workgroup Setting
After completing the settings on the Network Services Setting screen (if you specified
TCP/IP as the network protocol) or the Network Protocol Setting screen (if you did not
specify TCP/IP as the network protocol), the Domain/Workgroup Setting screen appears.
This screen is used to specify the name of the domain or workgroup in which your
computer is connected.
Domain/Workgroup Settings screen
To specify the domain or workgroup to which your computer belongs:
1 Enter the domain or workgroup name. To make the server a part of a domain for the
first time, select Create Computer Account.
2 If the server has already been registered for a domain, or you want to make the
server a part of a workgroup, click Next. In this case, it is not necessary to create the
computer account.
3 In the Administrator text box, enter the name of the manager or administrator
account that has permission to add computers to the specified domain.
4 Enter a password for the domain manager account.
5 Re-enter the password to confirm it.
NOTE: Do not use double-quotes in your entries.
6 After making your entries, click Next.
