If the latest Service Pack is installed, continue with the following procedure after
installing the VIA 4in1 driver.
Installing the VIA 4in1 driver
Once the installation of Windows NT Server 4.0 is complete, install the latest Service
Pack. Install the VIA 4in1 driver before installing the display driver.

Insert the Magnia 550D Service Server Setup (SST) CD-ROM into the CD-ROM
drive, and run the "Setup.exe" which can be located at
<CD-ROM>1Public\Utils\Gigabyte\VIA4in1.
Installing a display driver
The display driver that was automatically detected by the Windows NT Server 4.0
installer is set to VGA mode (640 x 480 resolution). To increase resolution, Windows NT
Service Pack 6a or later must be installed.

Start Windows NT Server 4.0 and log on as an administrator (or a user with
administrator rights).

Click "Start," then "Settings," then "Control Panel," and choose "Display" to open the
"Display Properties" dialog box.

Click the "Settings" tab and then choose "Display Type." In the displayed submenu,
click Change.

Insert the Magnia 550D Service Server Setup (SST) CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive,
and specify the following directory under "Have Disk"
<CD-ROM>\Software\VIDEO\GigaByte\GA620\NT40

Click OK.

When prompted to select the manufacturer and model of the display device adapter,
if your server came with a video card, select "GA-620 "Vanta" Windows NT Display
Driver" and click OK.

When the message "We are about to install a third-party driver" appears, click Yes.

When Windows NT displays a message saying that the driver has been installed
successfully, click OK, and then click Close twice.

When prompted to restart the server to make the new settings take effect, click Yes.

The server reboots and Windows NT Server 4.0 starts.
