Installing expansion cards

NOTE: Only PCI cards with a maximum rating of 25 watts may be used in the PCI
slot.
1 Remove the front and side panels. For instructions, see
server panels
2 Remove the expansion slot cover protecting the slot where you are going to install
the expansion card. To do this, press the cover in the direction of the arrow shown in
the illustration below. Save the cover for future use.

3 Align the contacts on the edge of the expansion card with the expansion slot
connector on the system board, then press down on the card to secure it in the
connector. Using "Screw A" shown in the table of
on page 32, secure the expansion card in the slot.
