Connect the interface cables to their corresponding connectors on the server and
the peripheral devices.

Check that all cables are seated properly, then tighten any connectors that secure
with screws.

Plug in the power cables of the peripherals.

Connecting the power cable

After connecting the peripherals, connect the power cable to the server. Use the supplied
power cable and plug it into a grounded AC outlet. Be sure to set the power supply
voltage switch to the appropriate voltage for your location before turning on the server.
WARNING: Use the power cable provided with your server and plug it into a
grounded AC outlet. Failure to use a grounded AC outlet or set the voltage switch to
the proper voltage can cause a fire or electric shock.
When plugging or unplugging the power cable, hold it securely by the connector.
Otherwise you risk damaging the cable which can result in a fire hazard or cause an
electrical shock.
CAUTION: Check that the AC outlet has a capacity adequate for the power
consumption of the server. See
Never connect an air conditioner, copying machine or other appliance that has high
power consumption or generates noise to the same AC outlets. The server's
performance may be impaired.
