Internet Information Services (IIS)
The Microsoft Internet Information Services.
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
This allows a temporary IP address to be automatically assigned to a host, when the
host is connected to the network.
Domain Name System (DNS)
DNS is a service that allows Domain Names to be translated into Internet Protocol
addresses. A Domain Name is a meaningful and easy to use, easy to remember
handle for an Internet address.
Windows Name Service (WINS)
This resolves the NetBIOS computer name to its I/P address.
NOTE: When you install IIS using the SST automatic installation procedure, only
the IIS included on the Windows 2000 CD-ROM is installed. If you want to install
another IIS version, you must manually install it after installing Windows 2000.
Select the network service, and then click Next.
Domain/Workgroup Setting
After completing the settings on the Network Services Setting screen (if you specified
TCP/IP as the network protocol) or the Network Protocol Setting screen (if you did not
specify TCP/IP as the network protocol), the Domain/Workgroup Setting screen appears.
Use this screen to specify the computer's domain or workgroup.

To specify the domain or workgroup to which your computer belongs:

Enter the domain or workgroup name. To make the server a part of a domain for the
first time, select Create Computer Account.
