Selecting a driver for a RAID controller
To select a driver for the RAID controller:

When the Windows NT Server 4.0 Setup Disk 2 displays a message asking whether
or not to detect large capacity storage devices, select "S=Skip Detection."
If you are booting from the Windows NT Setup CD-ROM, press F6 when the
following message appears on the DOS screen:
"Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration."

Select "S=Specify Additional Device."

Select "Others (Requires disk provided by a hardware manufacturer)."

Insert the floppy disk labeled "Express 500" (supplied with the RAID controller) into
the floppy disk drive, and press the Enter key.
Selecting a driver for the network adapter
To select a driver for the network adapter:

When a message appears in the Windows NT Setup window "Installing Windows NT
Networking," prompting you to select between "Remote Access to the Network" and
"Wired to the Network," select "Wired to the Network," mark the "Connect to the
Network" checkbox, and click "Next."

Choose "Select from list" from the driver selection menu, and then select "Have
Disk" from its submenu.

Insert the Windows NT LAN adapter driver backup floppy disk created above, and
press the Enter key.

In the next displayed window, select "D-Link DFE-530LTX Driver Set 1.0 or Intel
EtherExpress Pro/100+ Server Adapter."
Installing the Service Pack
To check whether the latest Windows NT Service Pack has been installed:

Open the My Computer folder.

Select "Version Information" from the Help menu.
The Service Pack version currently installed is displayed under the Windows NT
version information.
If no Service Pack information is displayed or the Service Pack version displayed is
not the latest version, install the latest Service Pack and the VIA 4in1 driver.
