Connecting Components

SCSI ID

The ID of the installed SCSI device must be different from the IDs of other devices. Refer
to the device manuals for more information.

Termination

The cable shipped from Toshiba is terminated, so there is no need to terminate the
device.

Installing SCSI devices

You can install up to three 5.25-inch internal SCSI devices in the 5.25-inch device bays.
1 Remove the front and side panels. For instructions, see
server panels
2 Set the SCSI-ID of the SCSI device.
3 Position the rails on the SCSI device and secure them with four screws. Use "Screw
B" designated in the table

possible reuse.
