Precaution when Mounting the Mechanism Unit

• When mounting the mechanism unit on the base frame, fit the bosses into the corresponding
holes for positioning. When positioning has been completed, attach the springs for the levers,
close the platen chassis and tighten screws A and screws B.
* With the rewinder model, close the platen chassis and the cutter chassis and tighten screws A
and screws B in order.
• When the mechanism unit has been mounted, be sure to adjust the head gap.
Refer to "3-15 Adjusting the Head Gap" (Page 3-44).

Oiling to the Mechanism Unit

When maintenance of the mechanism unit has been performed, supply an adequate amount of oil to
the positions shown in the figure below. Use the type of oil specified in the figure.
For the oil type, refer to "3-13 Oiling" (Page 3-42).
