While there are several methods of sending control commands to a printer from a host computer, method by BASIC is common. Example .1 Character set “CITIZEN” is printed in normal size and enlarged size. It is assumed that the printer is set under CBM mode. Program Creation Control commands in CBM mode lists that the command name for a double width large character is SO, and 0E for hexadecimal code .
