The ROADM is a NE configuration that brings the capabilities to add and drop one or
more wavelengths to/from the aggregate signal in more than one direction.
The schematic representation of the ROADM configuration is shown in
p. 3-42. The ROADM consists of the following:
Line drivers (LDRX_ and LDTX_), with the OSC for each side of the line

Wavelength router (WR4 or WR8) - one for each direction.
