In 1 Degree ROADM configuration, the 1850 TSS-320 connects to one optical fiber
DWDM line.
In the 1 Degree ROADM configuration, the equipment is placed at both ends of point-to-

In an ILA (in-line amplifier) configuration, the 1850 TSS-320 connects to an optical fibre

The ILA consists of two optical double-stage ILAs providing bi-directional wide band
amplification in order to boost the optical power of the aggregate DWDM signal avoiding
any optical to electrical conversion. The ILA can utilize both LDRXA and LDRXB
amplifiers. The placement of these Amplifiers will be determined in the LDT.
