Work to restore the SR-IOV function
If the SR-IOV function was used to remove and discard a virtual function (VF)
according to
"c. Work when using the SR-IOV
assignment of I/O
devices" before maintenance, create the virtual function again and
assign it to the domain based on the retained output data from the ldm list-io
command.
If you are using XCP 2210 or later and Oracle VM Server for SPARC 3.1.1 or later,
you do not have to stop the I/O domain or root domain.
Perform the following procedure:
1.
If the hotplug service is disabled on the I/O domain and root domain, enable it.
# svcadm enable hotplug
2.
Create the virtual function.
# ldm create-vf <PF name>
3.
Assign the virtual function (VF) to the I/O domain.
# ldm add-io <VF name> <I/O domain name>
4.
Disable the hotplug service on the I/O domain and root domain if necessary.
# svcadm disable hotplug
If you are using XCP 2092 or earlier or Oracle VM Server for SPARC 3.1 or earlier,
perform the following procedure:
1.
Transition the root domain that has the assigned physical function (PF) to
delayed reconfiguration mode.
