Notes when holding the terminal over
a card reader, NFC module equipped
device, etc.
Be careful not to hit the terminal when holding
over a compatible device.
Hold mark horizontally over the center of the compatible
device.
Slowly put the terminal close to a compatible device when
holding mark.
If mark cannot be scanned even with it held in front of
the center of the scanner, slightly lift up the terminal, or
move it backwards/forwards or to the left/right. When
holding the terminal to the scanner, note that
in the center of the terminal, but near the left of camera.
mark sometimes cannot be scanned if there is a metal
object between the mark and a compatible device. Also,
note that putting the terminal in a case or covering the
terminal might affect communication performance.
Locking Osaifu-Keitai function
Lock the Osaifu-Keitai function not to allow others to use
Osaifu-Keitai services or acquire data from scanners.
Osaifu-Keitai lock is different from screen lock
authentication or SIM card lock.

When you use "Lock NFC/Osaifu-Keitai",
the status bar.
Be careful about remaining battery level because canceling
"Lock NFC/Osaifu-Keitai" becomes unavailable when the
battery runs down while "Lock NFC/Osaifu-Keitai" is set.
When the battery runs down, charge the terminal before
canceling "Lock NFC/Osaifu-Keitai".
To use Osaifu-Keitai menu while "Lock NFC/Osaifu-Keitai" is
set, cancel "Lock NFC/Osaifu-Keitai".
A lock password for NFC/Osaifu-Keitai cannot be erased even
if you reset the terminal.
When canceling Lock NFC/Osaifu-Keitai, perform using the
docomo UIM card that is used when Lock NFC/Osaifu-Keitai
is performed.
