Connecting with other devices

Connecting with USB mass storage
You can exchange data between the terminal and a USB
memory or an external hard disk drive connected with a USB
cable for connecting peripheral device (commercially
available).
DOCOMO does not guarantee actual operations for all USB
devices.
For further information on USB cables for your peripheral
devices, refer to the operation manuals of USB devices to be
connected.

Connect the terminal with a USB mass storage
device using a USB cable with connectors
appropriate for respective devices.
USB mass storage (only for one device when 2 or more
devices are connected) is automatically mounted.

Perform required operations
✔INFORMATION
For a USB mass storage with AC adapter, connect the AC
adapter. Otherwise, the storage is not recognized.
If the Browser, Camera, or TV (Full Seg/1Seg) is used at the
same time as USB mass storage, warning notifying of
function restriction may appear. In this case, stop the function
being used before operating USB storage.

Removing USB mass storage
Do not disconnect the USB cable during data transfer. Doing
so may damage or destroy the data.

Displaying on a TV via MHL connection
Connect the terminal to a TV with HDMI/MHL connectors to
display videos or images on the TV.
To connect the terminal to the TV with an HDMI jack, you
need an HDMI standard certified HDMI cable (Category 2)
compatible with HDMI plug (Type A) (commercially
available) and HDMI conversion cable L01 (optional) or
HDMI conversion cable SC01 (optional). Connection with an
MHL-compatible-TV is available if using an MHL cable
(commercially available).

refer to the HDMI conversion cable manual.

Connect the HDMI cable to a TV HDMI port
For HDMI connection, switching input, volume control,
etc, refer to the operation manual of the TV.
