BRAKE HOSE INSPECTION/
BRAKE HOSE INSPECTION
1. Inspect:
S Brake hoses 1
S Brake pipe 2
Cracks /Wear/Damage ! Replace.
The brake pipe must not be disassembled. Do
not loosen the bolts 3 .
2. Check:
S Brake hose clamp
Loosen ! Tighten.
3. Hold the motorcycle on upright position.
4. Check:
S Brake hoses
Activate the brake lever or pedal several times.
Fluid leakage ! Replace the hose.
Refer to "FRONT AND REAR BRAKE" in
CHAPTER 7.

Bleed the brake system if:
S The system has been disassembled.
S A brake hose has been loosened or removed.
S The brake fluid has been very low.
S The brake operation has been faulty.
A loss of braking performance may occur if the
brake system is not properly bled.
1. Bleed:
S Brake system
Air bleeding steps:
a. Add proper brake fluid to the reservoir.
b. Install the diaphragm. Be careful not to spill any
fluid or allow the reservoir to overflow.
c. Connect a clear plastic hose 1 tightly to the
caliper bleed screw 2 .
