RADIATOR

INSPECTION

1. Inspect:
S Radiator core 1
Obstruction ! Blow out with compressed air
through rear of the radiator.
Flattened fin ! Repair/Replace.
2. Inspect:
S Fan 2
S Cracks /Damage ! Replace.
3. Inspect:
S Radiator hoses
Crancks /Damage ! Replace.
4. Measure:
S Radiator cap opening pressure
Radiator cap opens at pressure below the spe-
cified pressure ! Replace.
Radiator cap opening pressure:
75 X 105 kPa
(0.75 X 1.05 kg/cm
Measurement steps:
S Attach the radiator cap tester 1 and adapter 2
to the radiator cap 3 .
Radiator cap tester:
90890-01325
Adapter:
90890-01352
S Apply the specified pressure for 10 seconds, and
make sure there is no pressure drop.
