FRONT WHEEL

REMOVAL
Remove the cushion covers.
Disconnect the speedometer cable from the speedo·
meter gearbox.
Disconnect the brake cable from the brake arm.
Loosen the right and left pivot arm bolts.
Remove the axle nut, withdraw the axle shaft and
remove the front wheel.
INSPECTION
AXLE SHAFT

Set the axle in V blocks and measure the runout.
The actual runout is
