Modulite seat

The Modulite seat is available in two versions:
· Adjustment of the center of gravity via the lateral profiles
Adjustable seats (plate and strap), as described in chapter 9.2.3.1.
· Adjustment of the center of gravity via the oblong holes of the seat adaptor
Simple seat, as described in chapter 9.2.3.2.
If the mobility device is used with drive lock-out, the seat center of gravity can be safely monitored
in the corresponding seat position.
Drive lock-out is a feature designed to prevent the wheelchair from being driven after the seating
system has been tilted beyond the safe total angle relative to the vertical position. The total angle
can be any combination of seat angle, backrest angle and/or surface angle.
Please refer to the user manual for more information on this function.
The seat position settings with various combinations of seat depth, seat width, cushion type and
back unit are described in chapter 9.2.3.4.
CAUTION!
Increased danger of tipping over, if the center of gravity is shifted too far towards the rear.
There must ALWAYS be at least 80 mm clearance between the backrest and the rear axle.
Note
If the mobility device is used with the drive lock-out, variations to the values stated below can
occur. Please also refer to chapters 9.2.3.3 and 9.2.3.4.
