Using LEDs for troubleshooting

Green and orange LEDs on the each of the two LAN (Ethernet) ports on the router's
rear panel indicate link status and speed, as explained in Figure 25.

Green
indicates link speed:
ON – Connected to a 100-Mbps network
( 100BaseT mode)
OFF – Connected to a 10-Mbps network
(10BaseT mode)
Orange
indicates link status:
ON – Port is connected to a powered-on device
BLINKING – Port is receiving data
OFF – No link established
