Registering/Specifying Settings

Confidential box settings

The confidential communication that uses F-code can be used in this ma-

It is necessary to register the confidential box for confidential reception. A

maximum of 20 confidential boxes can be registered.

Give the box number and communication password set in the confiden-

tial box to the sender.

For details on confidential communication operations, refer to "Confiden-

tial transmission (F-Code TX)" on page 6-69.

A confidential box can be registered from Web Connection. For details on

the using Web Connection, refer to the User's Guide [Web Connection

Operations].

Press [Utility/Counter] key to display the Utility mode screen.

Touch [One-Touch/User Box Registration].

In the Utility mode, the number displayed on button can be entered

and selected on the keypad. For [One-Touch/User Box Registra-

tion], enter [1] on the keypad.
