Registering/Specifying Settings

Enter the fax number of the destination on the keypad.
Numbers of up to 38 digits can be entered.
If there is a wrong entry, delete 1 character at a time by touching
[Delete] or delete all by pressing [C] (clear) key and correct the en-
try.
[Tone] : If pulse dialing is being used, touch this button to send a
push-button tone. Use Tone when fax information service is being
used. Tone is displayed as "T" on the screen.
[Pause] : Touch this button to insert a pause when dialing. Touch
[Pause] once to insert a 1-second pause. In addition multiple paus-
es can be entered. It is displayed as "P" on the screen.
[-] : Touch this button to insert a delimiter during dialing. It has no
effect on the dailing. It is displayed as "-" on screen.
[→] : Moves the cursor to the right.
[←] : Moves the cursor to the left.
[Delete] : The characters before the cursor are deleted one by one.
[Outside] : When [PBX Connection Settings] are valid, [Outside] is
displayed and the outside line can be specified. If selected, it is dis-
played as "E-".
When [PBX Connection Settings] are valid, and a transmission is to
be sent from an extension line to the outside line, touch [Pause] af-
ter the outside line access number such as "0" for more secure di-
aling. It is displayed as "P" on the screen.

For specifying line settings, touch [Line Settings], specify the function
and then touch [OK].

Touch [OK].
Touch [Cancel] to discontinue the registration.
The destinations are registered and displayed in a list.

Touch [Close].
Returns to procedure 4 when the registration of Address Book is to
be continued.

Touch [Close] until it returns to Fax/Scan screen.
