CABLE ROUTING
Route the plastic locking tie
through the frame hole and fas-
ten the wire harness. Clamp the
protector covered part of the
wire harness and face the end
of the plastic locking tie to the
front.
Rectifier/regulator
Flange nut 7 Nm (0.7 m•kg, 5.2
ft•lb)
Rectifier/regulator bracket
Route the coolant reservoir
breather hose above the cool-
ant reservoir check window.
Fasten the coolant reservoir
breather hose to the front frame
with the plastic band, making
sure not to pinch the hose.
Route the wire harness above
the intake air temperature sen-
sor.
Fasten the wire harness, at the
portion just before the leads
split, to the headlight stay with
the plastic band.
Slide the rubber coupler over
the engine stop switch coupler,
throttle switch couplers, right
grip warmer coupler, and thumb
warmer coupler.
Pass the plastic band through
the holes in the rubber cover,
and then fasten the cover with
the band, making sure that the
band is not fastened over the
projections at the top of the
cover.

Route the fuel injection system
sub-wire harness (to the throttle
body) to the right of the radiator
outlet hose.
