Clearing a staple jam

If a staple jam occurs, the message shown
below appears.
For a staple jam in the saddle stitcher:
Reminder
Be careful when clearing jammed staples since injuries may result.
Follow the procedure described below to clear jammed staples. If the
paper is pulled out with too much force, the stapler unit may be
damaged.
