To manage a user for machine authentication

The settings for registered machine authentication users can be changed
and the counters can be controlled.

Display the User Authentication screen for machine authentication.
– For details on displaying the User Authentication screen, refer to
"Specifying user authentication settings" on page 12-42.

Touch [User Registration].
A screen for selecting a user number
appears.

Select the desired user number.
– Select a tab, and then touch the
button for the desired user
number.
– To immediately display the
desired user, touch [User
Number], and then use the
keypad to type in the user
number.
The User Information screen appears.

Select the desired settings.
– Touch [General Settings] to
display the User Registration
screen, and then change the
settings.
– For details on changing settings
for machine authentication users,
refer to "To register a user with
machine authentication" on
page 12-46.
– The list of print counters for each account can be printed by
pressing the [Start] key while the Detail screen is displayed.
– The list of print counters can be printed if only user authentication
settings have been specified.
