REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ADJUSTMENT

By the following adjustment steps.
Air pressure adjustment steps:
Remove the valve cap.
the air check gauge
adjust the air pressure.
Stiffer
Increase the air pressure.
(Use an air pump or pressurized air
supply.)
Softer
Decrease the air pressure.
(Release the air by pushing the
valve.)
Standard Air Pressure:
39.2 kPa (0.4 kg/cm², 5.7 psi)
Maximum Air Pressure:
98.1 kPa (1.0 kg/cm², 14.2 psi)
Never exceed the maximum pressure, or oil
seal damage may occur.

REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ADJUSTMENT
1. Adjust:
preload
*Damping
NOTE:
The spring preload and damping of the rear
shock absorbers can be adjusted to suit rider's
preference, weight, and the course condition.
Always adjust rear shock absorber preload and
damping to the same setting. Uneven adjustment
can cause poor handling and

of stability.
