Defective
valves, cylinder head

Inspect cylinder head,
valve surfaces, or
Above maximum level
piston crown for
carbon deposits.
NOTE:
The difference between the highest and
lowest cylinder compression readings must
not vary more than the specified value.
Difference Between Each Cylinder:
Less than 98
1. Inspect:
gear oil level
Oil level low Add sufficient oil.
By the following inspection steps.
Final gear oil level visual inspection steps:
the motorcycle on a level area and
place on i t s centerstand.
the oil filler cap
check the oil level. Correct oil
level should be a t the brim of the hole.
the oil level is low, add sufficient oil.
the oil filler cap to specification.
Oil Filler Cap (Final Gear):
23 Nm (2.3
1. Place a receptacle under the final gear case.

Remove:
filler cap
plug
Drain the oil.
