PROBLEM
Relay not functioning.
Loose or corroded
battery connections.
Key switch worn or
terminals loose.
Crankcase oil too high
viscosity.
Main circuit breaker
tripped.
Main circuit breaker
defective.
Vacuator plugged.
Pre-cleaner rotor not
turning freely.
Defective battery.
Defective alternator belt.
Loose or corroded
connections.
Dirty or defective
alternator, defective
voltage regulator, or
high resistance in
circuit.
Alternator or voltage
regulator not connected
properly.
High resistance in circuit
or poor ground on lights.
Defective light switch.

SOLUTION
Check relay and wire
connections.
Clean and tighten loose
connections.
Check switch and
terminals.
Use recommended oil.
Reset main circuit
breaker.
Replace circuit breaker.
Clean out vacuator.
Repair/replace.
Have battery tested.
Replace worn belt.
Clean and tighten
battery connections.
Check circuit.
Connect properly.
Check the wiring circuit
for a break in a wire or a
poor ground.
Replace switch.
