SYMPTOM
Lights do not light.
Turn signals or
indicators showing
wrong direction.
No current to cab.

Traction Drive System

Warning alarm sounds
and transmission oil
light is on.
Wheels lack pulling
ability on a grade or
pulling out of a ditch.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
PROBLEM
Defective light switch.
Broken wiring; open or
defective circuit breaker.
Defective relay.
Poor ground on lights.
Reversed wires.
Main circuit breaker
tripped.
Broken or disconnected
wire.
Low hydraulic oil level.
Low hydraulic pressure.
Foreign material
shorting sender.
Short in alarm wiring.
Faulty sender.
Insufficient torque at
drive wheels.
Loose or worn controls.
Air in system.
Brakes dragging.
Internal pump or motor
damage.
Relief valve in tandem
pump dirty or damaged.

SOLUTION
Replace switch.
Check wiring for broken
wire or shorts, check
circuit breaker.
Replace relay.
Clean and tighten
ground wires.
Connect properly.
Reset main breaker.
Check wiring for a
broken, loose or shorted
wire.
Stop engine, add oil.
Check and replace
check valve if defective.
Clean top of sender.
Check wiring to alarm.
Replace sender.
Turbo - Move speed-
range control to field
position and reduce
ground speed.
Check controls.
Use proper oil, check oil
level, check oil filter and
leaks.
Check brake linkages
for full release.
Check pump and/or
motor.
Replace relief valve.
