9. TIRES

[1] TIRE PRESSURE

Though the tire pressure is factory-set to the prescribed level, it
naturally drops slowly in the course of time. Thus, check it everyday
and inflate as necessary. To inflate the wheel tires, use an air
compressor or hand pump.
• Recommended inflation pressure
Maintain the pressure shown below.

11.2 - 24, 4PR
355/80 - D20, 4PR
Front
360/70R20
320/70R24
7 - 16, 4PR
212/80 - D15, 4PR
Rear
7 - 12, 6PR
7.5L - 15, 8PR
CAUTION
• Do not attempt to mount a tire. This should be done by a
qualified person with the proper equipment.
Qualified person with the proper tire mounting equipment
should recognize the following warning.
WARNING
• Never exceed 241 kPa (2.5 kgf/cm
to seat a bead. If beads have not been seated by the time the
pressure has reached 241 kPa (2.5 kgf/cm
the assembly, reposition the tire on the rim, relubricate and
reinflate. After seating the bead, adjust inflation pressure as
recommended in the inflation pressure chart.
