COMMUNICATION wITH THE PC
Connecting and separating the dictation machine
and the PC
Use the USB cable to connect the switched off dictation
machine to the USB interface at the PC via the »PC/
USB« port.
– The dictation machine begins to charge the rechar-
geable batteries. The green LED is blinking!
Move the On/Off switch to »ON« to switch on the dicta-
tion machine.
– Now you are prompted for the PIN.
warning:
Disconnect the USB interface via the task bar, as otherwi-
se the transfer may not be complete.
Note:
The Grundig Business Systems PC software can only
be connected to one dictation machine at a time. If you
connect a second dictation machine to the USB interface,
the PC will not detect it, i.e. Windows will only display one
removable disk drive.

PC file transfer
Connect the dictation machine to the PC via the USB
interface.
– If the dictation machine is already switched on the
USB parallel operation mode »
matically. The computer identifies the device as
removable medium and as USB audio/HID device.
Now you can transfer data between PC and dictation machine.
Select USB parallel operation »
"Auto connect" is switched off and confirm with the »
button (see chapter "USB connection automatic /
manual").
