Using RFID codes

RFID codes are located on RFID labels (TAG).
You can scan a RFID code for each new dictation. The
detected codes are stored in the header of a DSS file
in the "Subject" field, and thus displayed in the note
that accompanies the dictation. Other programs that
evaluate the DSS header (for example a database
system) can classify the dictations according to the
scanned codes.
The detected codes are displayed by the PC software
included with the portable dictation machine and by the
desktop software:
– in the overview of the accompanying note for the
dictation (see also "Dictation accompanying note" in
the program help)
– in the dictation list (if the "Subject" field is enabled,
see "Sorting" in the program help).

Connecting and removing the RFID reader

The same procedure is used as with barcode reader 404.
See the Chapter "Plugging in" and "Unplugging".
