Modifying the PIN

The personal identification number (PIN) protects the
dictation machine against unauthorized use. The factory
settings are 0000. Do only enter a sequence of digits
known to yourself. You have to enter the PIN each time you
switch on the dictation machine as well as each time you
reactivate it from the "Sleep mode".
• Select the »PIN« menu item and confirm with the right
selection button »
• Enter the old PIN via the navigation buttons »
(confirm the digits with the right selection button »
– Each entered PIN will be overwritten through a "
symbol for protection reasons.
• Enter the new PIN via the navigation buttons with the
right selection button »
new PIN for security reasons.
