Enabling Service Announcements

The Service Announcements features allows a user to send announcement
requests to a customer-supplied announcement server. (Not applicable to the
WIP310.)
Log in to the configuration utility.
Click Admin Login and advanced.
Click the Phone tab.
Under Supplementary Services, in the Service Annc Serv field, choose yes.
Click Submit All Changes.
This feature is unavailable on the Cisco SPA300 Series and Cisco SPA500 Series
IP Phones using SPCP.
The Cisco SPA300 Series and Cisco SPA500 Series IP phones have four softkeys
on the screen that, when pressed, perform certain actions. (The Cisco SPA301
and Cisco SPA501 do not have any softkeys.)
The default softkeys (when the phone is in an idle state) are Redial, Directory, Call
Forward, and Do Not Disturb. Other softkeys are available during specific call
states (for example, if a call is on hold, the Resume softkey displays).
You can customize the softkeys displayed on the phone. To program softkeys:
Log in to the configuration utility.
Click Admin Login and advanced.
Click the Phone tab.
(Cisco SPA525G/525G2 only) Under Programmable Softkey Enable, choose yes.
