Copy Mode

This menu simply allows operators to
choose the duplex input output settings for
the job.

Paper Presetting

Within this mode operators are able to set up
the defined paper stocks within each paper
tray.
The operator can specify the paper size,
weight, type and any other custom setting,
assigning the paper source to a specific tray.
The feature is intelligent in that it only offers
paper attributes that the specific tray can
accommodate. i.e. only when tray 4 is
highlighted does the heavier 170lb./300gsm
paper stock option become available.
It is important to change the paper details at
the device rather than simply change
supplies and leave the device dumb to the
change because the gearing and fuser
temperature are adjusted according to the
media source being printed upon.

Copy Reservation

To allow for the busy workflow in a back
office/CRD environment the Océ
VarioPrint 1105 is equipped to handle a
copy reserve queue of up to 30 jobs. This
allows the operator to make a single visit to
the device, store copy jobs and leave the
device to carry out the tasks, without further
need for user intervention. This puts the
device at an advantage versus several
competing units which are limited to 20 or
less reserve jobs.

Mode Check

To allow operators to carry out a final check
on the job settings the device comes with a
mode check function. By pressing this button
the operator is faced with a screen with the
entire job setting outline, providing him or
her with an easy method of comparing the
document settings against the job ticket.
