The show 802.1x auth_state command displays the current 802.1x
authentication state of the specified ports of the Port-based Network
Access Control server application on the Switch.
The following details are displayed:
Port number − Shows the physical port number on the Switch.
Auth PAE State: Initialize / Disconnected / Connecting / Authenticati
/ Authenticated / Held / ForceAuth / ForceUnauth − Shows the curre
state of the Authenticator PAE.
Backend State: Request / Response / Fail / Idle / Initialize / Succes
Timeout − S
Port Status: Authorized / Unauthorized − Shows the result of th
authentication process. Authorized means that the user
authenticated, and can access the network. Unauthorized means t
the user was not
