If multiple VLANs are configured, a screen showing all VLANs appears instead
of the following screen.
The default setting for
TimeP Config is DHCP.
Setting it to Manual,
then pressing [ v] or [Tab]
causes the Server
Address parameter to
appear.
For descriptions of these
parameters, see the
online Help for this
screen.
Before using the DHCP/
Bootp option, refer to
"DHCP/Bootp

5. IP Configuration
Press [E] (for Edit).
If the switch needs to access a router, for example, to reach off-subnet
destinations, select the Default Gateway field and enter the IP address of
the gateway router.
If you need to change the packet Time-To-Live (TTL) setting, select Default
TTL and type in a value between 2 and 255 (seconds).
At the TimeP Config field do one of the following:
•
If you want the switch to obtain the IP address of the Timep server
via DHCP server, keep the value as DHCP.
•
If you want to manually specify the IP address of the Timep server,
use the Space bar to select Manual.
•
If you don't have a Timep server set up, use the Space bar to change
the value to Disabled.
