SADDLE STITCH FINISHER

Misfeed in the saddle stitch finisher

If a misfeed has occurred in the saddle stitch finisher during printing, remove the misfed paper following the procedure
below.
Pull the knob and slide the saddle stitch

finisher away from the main unit.
Remove the misfed paper from the main

unit.
If misfed paper is not found in step 1, open
3
the top cover.
Turn roller rotating knob B until the triangle
4
mark reaches the position indicated in the
illustration (only if a punch module is
installed as a peripheral unit).

Remove the misfed paper.

Be careful not to tear the
misfed
paper
during
removal.
Close the top cover.

Open the front cover.

Turn roller rotating knob C until a blue

indication is seen (when the stapling
function has been used).

Remove the misfed paper from the stapler

compiler (when the stapling function has
been used).
Open the saddle stitch section cover (when
10
the saddle stitch function has been used).
Be careful not to tear the
misfed
paper
during
removal.
