Releasing a DHCP Address

Procedure
Press settings.
Press 6 (Network Configuration).
Use the down volume key to select DHCP Enabled.
If DHCP is enabled, the option displays as
DHCP Enabled
YES
Press * to edit.
Use the down volume key to select No.
Press # to save.
When moving the phone to a new network segment, you should first release the
DHCP address.
Procedure
Press settings.
Use the Navigation button to select Network Configuration.
Press the Select soft key.
Scroll to DHCP Address Released.
If the DHCP address is currently assigned, the option displays as
DHCP Address Released No
