Features

The JUNO-Gi is a full-fledged synthesizer that's lightweight and compact, designed to meet the needs of live performance in a wide range of musical
styles.
With the latest high-quality synthesizer sound engine and a built-in digital recorder, the JUNO-Gi makes live performance and recording easier than
ever.
Cutting-edge pro-quality synthesizer sound engine
• The JUNO-Gi's new sound engine lets you play four layers (Tones) from a single sound (Live Set). Maximum polyphony is
128 notes, giving you ample capacity even when layering high-quality sounds.
• More than one thousand Live Sets that you can select and perform for any musical situation.
Digital Recorder allows you to record vocals and guitar
• The built-in digital recorder makes it easy to create multi-track recordings.
The digital recorder provides eight tracks. Each track consists of eight virtual tracks (V-tracks), and you can select one of
these V-tracks for playback and recording. In other words, you can use 8 x 8 = 64 tracks to record your performance, and
choose eight of these for playback.
• You can use these tracks to record not only the JUNO-Gi's performance, but also your vocal or guitar performance,
making this a great way to create backing tracks for live use on stage, or in music production.
• The performance data is recorded directly on the SD card included with the JUNO-Gi. Every step from recording to
mixdown is easy, and you can start right away.
Dedicated effects for versatility in sound design and recording
• There are two multi-effect (MFX) units for the synthesizer, in addition to dedicated chorus and reverb. Since you can you
choose from 79 types of MFX, your sound-creation possibilities are enormous.
• There's a dedicated guitar/vocal effect for the digital recorder, as well as track equalizer, reverb, and master effects. These
give you plenty of flexibility for any type of recording, and will also raise the quality of your music to that of a mastered
CD.
• Use the master equalizer to adjust the overall tone quality of your sound. Dedicated knobs allow direct adjustment of the
equalizer.
Simple and intuitive operation
• Dedicated buttons make it easy to select various synthesizer sounds and operate the digital recorder.
• The large LCD ensures excellent visibility for live performances, with sound names shown in large characters. An easy-to-
read screen makes sound design and recording an effortless experience.
Battery operation allows easy portability
• Support for battery operation means that you can use the JUNO-Gi anywhere—home, stage, studio, or on the street.
• Lightweight and compact design for easy portability.
* Rechargeable Ni-MH batteries (AA, HR6; sold separately) are supported. (Alkaline batteries/carbon-zinc batteries are
not supported.)
Functionality for live performance
• You can use the USB memory song player function to play backing tracks during your live performances.
To play back your audio files (MP3, WAV, AIFF) or MIDI files (SMF), simply copy them to USB memory (sold separately) and
connect it to the JUNO-Gi. (This function works independently from the digital recorder.)
• There are plenty of controllers available for live performance, such as the D Beam controller and the sound modify knobs.
Use with your computer for music production
The USB COMPUTER connector, MIDI controller functionality, and the included Cakewalk software make it easy for you to
