The Preferences – Defaults tab.
The Defaults tab allows you to define a few default settings that will be used for every new
Project.

Description
Here you can define the default length of new Patterns. Select a value by
pressing your mouse button and dragging up or down.
This allows you to select one of the three quantize options:
None (no quantization),
Record (quantization only in Record mode) or
Play/Rec (quantization in Play and Record mode).
