Stereo Zone w/ Stereo Sub-Zone
Many areas of the home are ideal for zone/sub-zone
configuration. Examples include Master Bedroom/
Master Bath or Kitchen/Dining Area. In this applica-
tion, only two amp channels are used.
Connect the Fixed Zone Audio Output to a pair of
amp channels. Use two impedance matching volume
controls on the amplifier's speaker outputs to main-
tain independent volume control capabilities in each
room.

At least one controlling device (keypad, touch panel)
must be installed to control the zone. Volume
up/down will be controlled with the volume control
located in each part of the zone. If using ELAN elec-
tronic volume controls, system and source control is
possible using a hand-held remotecontrol. This appli-
cation uses the least amount of amplifier channels
possible.
Note: Fixed Zone Audio Outputs do not have DRC
or EQ capabilities.
