Fax Transmission/Reception Methods
Polling Transmission
Documents scanned and saved in the memory can be retrieved by the
recipient.
Note
Polling transmission is compatible with F code transmission.
A maximum of 30 polling transmissions can be programmed.
If the memory is full, polling transmission cannot be set.
With polling transmission, the recipient incurs the cost of the call.
To set up polling transmission

Position the document to be faxed.

If necessary, change the "Resolution" setting (p. 5-11).

Press the [Function] key.

Press the [5] key from the 10-Key
Pad.
or
Press the [Function] key 5 times to
select "POLLING TX", and then
press the [Yes] key.

Using the [ ] and [ ] keys, select
either "SINGLE" or "MULTI", and
then press the [Yes] key.

To allow only one polling
transmission request, then delete the document from the memory,
select "SINGLE".

To allow multiple polling transmission requests, select "MULTI".
The document is stored in the memory until it has been deleted.
