Viewing and Responding to Messages

When you receive an e-mail message, the Smartphone plays a sound and displays an envelope icon
at the top of the screen. By default, the Home screen also displays the number of unopened e-mail
and SMS messages. To quickly view new messages, scroll to the message notification area on the
Home screen and press the Action key to enter the Inbox of the specified account.

Working with the Message List

Received messages are stored in the Inbox folder of the appropriate account. They are displayed in
the Inbox message list.
To view the Inbox message list, press the Start soft key on the Home screen and select Inbox. If
necessary, press the Left/Right key to change to the account for which to view messages.
By default, messages are displayed in the order received.
N O T E
You can change the order in which messages are displayed and show the date and time that
messages were sent. While in Inbox, press the Menu soft key and select Options
Modify the settings and press the Done soft key.
Opening a Message

On the Home screen, press the Start soft key and select Inbox.

If necessary, press the Left/Right key to change to the account you want.
3.
Select the message to open.
4.
To return to the message list, press the Back key.
