Inserting Signatures into Messages

For each messaging account, you can specify a signature to be automatically inserted into messages
that you send.
1.
While in Inbox, press the Menu soft key and select Options
2.
Under Select an account, press the Left/Right key to change to the account for which to
specify a signature.
3.
Select Use signature with this account.
4.
To insert a signature in every message you send, select Include when replying and
forwarding. Otherwise, a signature is inserted only in new messages.
5.
Under Signature, replace the text in the box with a signature to insert.
6.
Press the Done soft key. The signature is inserted into messages that you send from this
account.
N O T E
To stop inserting a signature in messages, repeat the above procedure, but clear Use signature
with this account.

Sending Messages

There are several ways to send e-mail and SMS messages with your Smartphone. The most
common way to send messages is from Inbox or from a contact card.
The Smartphone immediately sends SMS messages when you press the Send soft key on the New
Message screen.
To send e-mail messages, you can connect to your desktop computer or Exchange Server, and
synchronize Inbox with Outlook. (For more information, see Chapter 7.)
You can also use the Send/Receive menu command from an Internet e-mail account to send e-mail
messages. Follow this procedure:
1.
Before you can send e-mail messages, your Smartphone must be properly configured. (For
more information, see the "Setting up an Internet E-mail Account" section earlier in this
chapter.)
2.
On the Home screen, press the Start soft key and select Inbox.
3.
If necessary, press the Left/Right key to change to the Internet e-mail account for which you
want to send messages.
