Installing Utility Programs
Some of the files and programs have been preinstalled in your Smartphone, including:
TaskManager
PhoneExplorer
The programs that are not installed are:
PhoneReader
PhoneCity
MPEG4 Plug-in
Mio Assistant
Use the Bonus CD to install a program. The installation procedure is as follows:
1.
Connect the Smartphone to your desktop computer.
2.
Insert the Bonus CD into the CD-ROM drive of the desktop computer.
3.
The installation program on the CD will start automatically.
4.
Select the desired language for the display.
5.
Click Next on the welcome screen.
6.
Click Yes to accept the license agreement.
7.
Depending on your needs, select Custom Install, Install All, or Typical Install and click
Next.
8.
Click Next to confirm the programs to install.
Or, if you select Custom Install in the previous step, click Next to accept the destination
folder, select the programs to install, and click Next. Click Next for confirmation.
9.
The installation progress will be displayed on the screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to
finish the installation.
N O T E
The installation needs some temporary storage space. If there is a problem of insufficient
memory, stop all the other programs or reset the Smartphone.
Depending on the continuing developments of the Smartphone, the Bonus CD supplied with
your Smartphone may be updated. Please visit the www.mio-tech.be website for viewing and/or
downloading the latest versions of the supplied software or other latest information.
For safety's concern, your Smartphone has been locked; you cannot install Microsoft-certified
and Smartphone-compliant programs other than those provided on the Bonus CD. To unlock
your Smartphone and install other programs, please visit the www.mio-tech.be website for
on-line unlocking.
