Creating a New Contact
1.
On the Home screen, press the Start soft key and select Contacts. If the right soft key on the
Home screen is Contacts, you can also press the soft key.
2.
Press the New soft key; or, press the Menu soft key and select New Contact. To create a new
contact in the SIM card, press the Menu soft key and select New SIM Contact.
3.
Enter the information for the new contact. (For information on entering text, see section 2.3.)
4.
When completed, press the Done soft key.
N O T E
Unlike regular contact cards, you can store only one phone number for each SIM contact.
When you create a new contact on your Smartphone, you can synchronize Contacts with your
desktop computer or a server to keep your contact information up-to-date in all locations.
Deleting a Contact
1.
On the Home screen, press the Start soft key and select Contacts. If the right soft key on the
Home screen is Contacts, you can also press the soft key.
2.
Scroll to the contact to delete.
3.
Press the Menu soft key and select Delete.
4.
A message appears on the screen asking you to confirm. Press the Yes soft key.
Finding a Contact
1.
On the Home screen, press the Start soft key and select Contacts. If the right soft key on the
Home screen is Contacts, you can also press the soft key.
2.
Entering the name to search is a convenient method to find a contact. When you press the
number key to enter the letters, the matched contact will appear on the screen. If you have set
up the contact category, you can filter the contacts by pressing the Menu soft key, and
selecting Filter, then Business, Miscellaneous or Personal.
N O T E
While in the contact list, you can press the Up/Down key to scroll to a contact, but you cannot
press the Left/Right key to go to the previous/next page.
