Synchronizing Remotely

You can synchronize remotely with your desktop computer, or with an Exchange server. Remote
synchronization is when your device is synchronizing over a wireless connection instead of using a
direct local connection to a desktop computer.

Synchronizing Remotely with a Desktop Computer

N O T E
To synchronize remotely with a desktop computer, it must be turned on.
1.
Connect to your corporate network. (See "Data Connections" in section 4.1.)
2.
On the Home screen, press the Start soft key and select ActiveSync.
3.
Press the Menu soft key and select Options.
4.
Select PC Settings.
5.
Under Use, press the Left/Right key to select the computer name.
6.
Select or clear Use mobile schedule to sync with this PC.
7.
Select or clear Sync with this PC during manual sync.
8.
Press the Done soft key.
9.
Press the Sync soft key on the main screen of ActiveSync to start synchronizing remotely.
