Voice Tag
You can record voice tags. Then, when you speak the voice tag, the Smartphone automatically dials
the associated phone number, opens an e-mail message using the associated address, or goes to the
associated Web page.
N O T E
You can create a voice tag only for a phone number, e-mail address, or Web page address that
is stored in Contacts. You cannot create a voice tag for a contact stored in the SIM card.
Creating a Voice Tag
1.
On the Home screen, press the Start soft key and select Contacts.
2.
Select the desired contact and open the contact card to create a voice tag.
3.
Select the phone number, Web page address or e-mail address to create a voice tag.
4.
Press the Menu soft key and select Add Voice Tag.
5.
After the audio and visual prompt, begin recording the words for the voice tag. When
prompted, repeat the words. The Smartphone will play back the recording and notify you of
the successful recording.
6.
Press the OK soft key to go to the Add Speed Dial screen. Scroll to Voice tag and press the
Action key to play back the voice tag you have created.
7.
Press the Done soft key to return to the contact card.
Using a Voice Tag
1.
On the Home screen, press and hold the Talk key
2.
Speak the words that you recorded as a voice tag.
3.
The Smartphone plays back the voice tag, recognizes it, and then dials the phone number,
opens a new e-mail message, or goes to the Web page.
4.
If the Smartphone fails to recognize the voice tag, press the End key
procedure.
Playing Back a Voice Tag
1.
On the Home screen, press the Start soft key and select Speed Dial.
2.
Select an entry from the speed dial list.
3.
Press the Menu soft key and select Play Voice Tag; or press the Edit soft key, scroll to
Playback voice tag and press the Action key.
