Assigning a Photo for a Contact

You can copy the image file to the Storage\My Documents folder of the Smartphone by using
ActiveSync.

On the Home screen, press the Start soft key and select PhotoID.

On the PhotoID main screen, scroll to a contact to assign a photo, press the Menu soft key,
and select Edit

You can also press the Action key to open the selected contact's information, and then select a
photo for the contact. (See "Editing a Contact" later in this chapter.)

At the top of the screen, the current used photo displays on the left and the contact's name and
phone number on the right. The middle of the screen displays the image list for you to select.
N O T E
You must select a photo with the 176x144 resolution to use the PhotoID function.
After shooting, you can press the Cancel soft key in five seconds to abort.
You can continue taking photos as long as your Smartphone has enough memory.

On the Frame screen, press the navigation pad to select a frame and press the OK soft key.
You can also press the Preview soft key to preview the photo with the selected frame. Then
press the OK soft key.

The photo you assign for the contact is now on the PhotoID main screen.

To assign a photo for the contact, do one of the following:
Press the navigation pad to scroll to a photo from the middle
of the screen, and press the Action key.
Press the Camera soft key to take a new photo using the
Smartphone's camera. Frame your target in the viewing
window, and press the Shutter soft key to take the photo.
Press the Save soft key to add the photo to the image list.
Scroll to the photo and press the Action key.
