When you apply for the GPRS service, your service provider may have already set up a GPRS
connection for you. If you want to set up the GPRS connection, follow this procedure:
1.
Obtain the following information from your service provider: the APN (Access Point Node)
name and DNS (Domain Name Servers) name (if required).
2.
On the Home screen, press the Start soft key, and select Settings
3.
Press the Menu soft key and select Edit Connections.
4.
Select GPRS Connections.
5.
Press the Menu soft key and select Add. Enter your name under Description.
6.
Under Connects to, select the appropriate option.
7.
Under Access point, enter the APN provided by your service provider.
8.
Enter the user name and password provided by your service provider.
9.
If needed, enter the primary DNS, secondary DNS, and the IP address.
10.
Press the Done soft key three times to return to the Data Connections screen.
11.
Under Internet connection, press the Left/Right key to change to the GPRS connection you
just created, and press the Done soft key.
Completing the GPRS Settings
1.
On the Home screen, press the Start soft key, and select Settings

Under Internet
connection, select
the Internet setting of
your mobile phone
network.

Press the Done soft key.

connection, select
the WAP setting of
your mobile phone
network.

Under MMS
Connection, select the
MMS setting of your
mobile phone
network.
